We chose a visualization-engine instead of a game-engine, because we are focused on photoreal real-time output in VR and better integration for AR. An easier and faster workflow for the designer to create realistic looking virtual worlds and assets is essential. Unigine gives us the power for real-time lightcalculations like global illumination, ambient occlusion and sunlight. That leads to highly realistic materials.
